What Kairos does
Kairos governs the shortest horizon: the exact instant. Where Chronos measures duration, Kairos measures the opening—the tick where momentum turns and a moment becomes an opportunity.
He watches order flow and micro-structure on the seconds-to-minutes scale, and does nothing until the conditions align. Most of the time, Kairos waits.
When his window is granted and the moment arrives, he flags the entry with a confidence score and hands execution to Hermes.
Responsibilities
- 01Detect momentum inflections on short timeframes
- 02Score entry opportunities by confidence
- 03Wait out the hours that are not his
- 04Hand qualified entries to Hermes
The Watch
Kairos at work
Kairos is not yet activated. Chronos governs when each agent may act; until he grants Kairos’s horizon, there is nothing here to record. The council comes online one hand at a time—Chronos keeps the book first.
The calls Kairos is built to make
- momentum inflection on 3m — flagged
- entry window · confidence 0.71
- opportune moment passed — stood down
- scanning order flow — no setup
Illustrative — not live
